Anaya Walji is a passionate advocate, speaker, and community leader based in Calgary, Alberta. As the founder of Speak Together Heal Together, she has dedicated the past four years to raising awareness about sexual and mental abuse while creating a safe space for individuals to share their stories and begin their healing journey. Through school presentations, fundraisers, and online initiatives, Anaya empowers youth across Alberta with knowledge, resources, and the confidence to use their voice. A survivor herself, Anaya courageously transformed her experiences into purpose, using her platform to inspire resilience and promote education on recognizing warning signs of abuse. She is also passionate about mental health, developing programs and resources that encourage self growth, boundary setting, and positive self talk. Beyond advocacy, Anaya enjoys dancing, spending time with her family and her dog Bruno, and being outdoors. She recently returned from Bali, Indonesia, where she taught children and embraced cultural learning. Anaya is committed to making a lasting impact and believes that when we speak together, we can heal together.
