Chantelle Desjardins is a Bachelor of Science student in Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Alberta, with aspirations of becoming a registered dietitian and working in clinical settings. She is passionate about helping others achieve better health through accessible, evidence-based nutrition. Chantelle is an active student leader and has contributed at the federal, provincial, and municipal levels. She has served on Health Canada’s Youth Leadership Team on Tobacco and Vaping, the RCMP National Youth Advisory Committee, and Alberta’s Minister’s Youth Council, where she advocated for improvements in education and youth well-being. In addition to her academic and leadership work, Chantelle has experience in runway modeling, having walked for multiple designers at Edmonton Fashion Week, as well as acting in Netflix film productions. She values confidence, resilience, and authenticity, and is committed to using her voice to inspire others and create meaningful impact in her community.
