Destiny is a force for change within the world of emergency medicine and public safety. A dedicated ER nurse (LPN) currently pursuing her RN degree, she also serves the community as a volunteer firefighter. Having experienced the intensity of the frontlines firsthand inspired her to found Forward Frontline, an organization centered on first responder mental health. Her leadership has sparked vital partnerships with national entities like Wounded Warriors Canada, CMHA, and OSI-CAN. Beyond the hospital and fire station, Destiny is an advocate for systemic change, collaborating with government representatives and the Alberta Association of Nurses to advance mental health education. For her, living a life of service means balancing the rigors of the emergency room with a tireless commitment to giving back to the community. She is honored to amplify the mission to help ensure that heroes running toward crisis are not left to face the aftermath alone.
