Mariann is a creative soul motivated by the desire to make a positive impact in the lives of those around her. Having witnessed some of the darker sides of humanity, she is committed to spreading kindness and hope through her actions, both big and small. For example, she partnered with a local domestic violence shelter, making blankets and quilts of all sizes for women and their families seeking refuge there. As an asexual woman, Mariann is also passionate about raising awareness on asexuality and addressing the impact of hypersexualization—two issues she believes are deeply interconnected. In addition to giving talks to various organizations, she shares the everyday experiences of an asexual person on her Instagram, offering visibility, authenticity, and a sense of community. By becoming Ms. Personality Canada 2026, her goal is to challenge stereotypes and show the world that asexual people exist, matter, and have an important place in society.
