MaKayla Piercy is currently pursuing her studies in the Early Childhood Education Diploma program at Bow Valley College. She began her journey in childcare at the age of 19, captivated by the enthusiasm and nurturing spirit of children. However, throughout her experience, MaKayla observed a decline in mental health within the field. She recognized that educators work tirelessly and deserve attention regarding their own mental well-being. Since educators play a crucial role in shaping young minds, their mental health should be prioritized. This is why MaKayla dedicates her time to supporting fellow Early Childhood Educators, ensuring they can experience the same happiness at work that she does.
