Samantha Jo (she/her) is a third year biology student at Thompson Rivers University. Since the age of four, she began volunteering with her mother at her school’s breakfast program, which provided students with a free breakfast every morning. Since then, she has hosted her own fundraisers and won numerous volunteer awards for her ongoing community service. When she’s not studying in Kamloops, BC, you can find her playing hockey, volleyball, or with her cadet corps. As the women's representative at her schools student union, Jo ensures a feminist voice is heard on the board of directors. She takes pride in the work she has done so far and the projects planned for the 2023-2024 academic year.
